i guess some places of Paris smell a bit....but its a beautiful city....really breathtaking. very different to Sydney which is very modern, Paris is very old looking, i love that.
i remember seeing a sign in the front of a Cafe that said "No nuclear weapons allowed on the premises" thank god for that. I dont know if it was a joke or a bad translation.
we've talked about Donnie Darko alot...i thought it was a bit overrated, certianly not shitty but i found it a little boring and not all that great.
just finished watching Russian Ark on DVD.....holy moly that is one fantastic movie. breathtaking.

I think that their might be a bandwidth limit or something, but try your luck!)P.S. Here's Natalie's again, so you can compare the two. Thnaks again, Nat!

I know I'll get shit for saying this, but my favourite film ever is Girls Just Want To Have Fun. Have any of you seen it? It has all the elements of what I think make a good movie: dancing, romance, set in the 80s.
Other movies that I've watched over and over: *The Goonies *Rocky Horror Picture Show *Pretty in Pink *Say Anything *Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory *Scary Movie 1 & 2
Other movies that I've enjoyed but only seen a couple of times: *Amelie *American Beauty *100 Cigarettes *High Fidelity *The Sweetest Thing (dance scenes won me over)
Hmm, my list doesn't contain many 'deep' films like the ones on other people's lists...I watch them, but they are just not the sort of movies I can watch over and over again...If it doesn't make me laugh then it probably won't get a second viewing, no mater how good it is.
One day I aim to make a movie set in the 80s, with several dance scenes, shitloads of sexual tension, a possible love triangle, lame jokes, all set to a killer soundtrack...would anyone like to fund my film?
I haven't really seen any new films/videos in a while. Once I get a dvd player I aim to watch a new dvd every week.

James, if you send the picture to me I'll put it up for you. Just send it to (jaded@iprimus.com.au). Also if you want an icon for this board or anything send it to me as well. The width has to be max 100 though. If I send you a picture can you make me an avatar too?

From memory, mine doesn't either. It's films with dick jokes (Kevin Smith films), one written by the guy who created Beavis & Butthead (Office Space), a few John Hughes films and some Monty Python/Kids in the Hall. That's far from "deep"

If I send you a picture can you make me an avatar too? I can store avatars for people too if they'd like. I'm ashamed to admit it but I've never seen "Girls Just Want to Have Fun". I like cheesy 80s films too.

Ech, yep most of us have seen Donnie Darko and most enjoyed it while others *points finger at a certain person* didn't. I have it on DVD! I love the soundtrack also... re your comment on the other thread, I downloaded some songs lol, no close a P&O cruise (just as bad). I was 12 and went with my family and some family friends so that doesn't count Beautiful James, thankyou muchly. It is just like in the picture, only better! Yep I have seen it Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica are in it right? My friend had a copy of it. Very daggy Do you like Dirty Dancing also. There wasn't a girl I knew at high school that didn't seem to have a hard-on for that movie Yep sure Gemma I'd love too, email it to me and I'll do my best Email a couple of different pics actually. Of those movies on your list I have Amelie, High Fidelity and Say Anything on DVD, 200 Cigarettes on VHS. My sis has Pretty in Pink and Willy Wonka.

You're very welcome, my dear... ;D Whay-hey! What school did you got to! ;D [Thinks: Aw man... could there be a little too much sexual innuendo going on on this board at the moment?]
[More thinks: Too much sexual innuendo? Can such a thing be possible? After all, my heroes are Sid James, Charles Hawtrey and Kenneth Williams... Bah-ha-hah...] 'Ere, stop messin' about!'[Sidney] James P.S. And yeah, nah, I've never seen Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Or Dirty Dancing for that matter.
