Harvey is that all you can say about Paris? I don't know whether to cry or laugh!
James, if you send the picture to me I'll put it up for you. Just send it to (jaded@iprimus.com.au). Also if you want an icon for this board or anything send it to me as well. The width has to be max 100 though.
Sounds like you has an awesome time. Must have been very memorable. How lucky to have family in Europe to hang out with though!

I wouldn't say no to trying my hand at hostels and the like (which I have done elsewhere in Australia), but that can get expensive. So yeah, it was lucky. I'd probably take longer to say it (Frasier Crane style - and I was there for even less time!) but I'd have to agree with everything you said there, Harvey, contradictions and all. Firmly in agreeance (even though it's not a word), James [also not a word]

Yeah, me too. I mean, I think so. The Eurostar? It was certainly fast, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to the TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse).

I can't remember exactly. I kept just about everything I got in Europe - dockets, tickets, the lot - but I can't find that ticket at the moment. I think it took 3 hours, but I'll just double-check on the website ( www.eurostar.com). .... Yeah, seems that most trips take from 2h 45m to 3 hours, London to Paris.

yep i seem to remember it taking about 3 hours, though you only actually spend about 20 minutes in the tunnel itself. most of it is spent speeding through the fields of France.
it was funny....customs at the ENglish end seemed very relaxed and carefree but when you get to the French end they all but body search you.

One of my favourite films...Donnie Darko. If you haven't seen this movie...go, go watch it now. If you have seen it but didn't like it or "get" it...go, go watch it again.
By the way, I got told that Paris smells like wee...seriously.
