Oooh just saw a great ad for this on the ABC last night before Kath & Kim. Says it's coming soon, so sometime in summer probably. Let's just hope they don't bludgeon us to death with it like they did with the saturation screening of Angels of America. I'm sorry but as sad as I can often be, I do not have time to waste three hours a night for three consecutive nights on bloody television! Give us a break, okay?!?
Anyway, stay tuned for further developments...
And you know something's rotten in the state of OzFreaks when I'm reporting newsbreaks like this! C'mon people, let's pick it up, alright? ;D

Don't get me wrong, Harvey, I'm keen on the idea of Angels in America but the intense manner in which it was screened on TV was just too much for me. I look forward to watching it on DVD sometime later on...

i kinda liked it cause i have lots of stamina sometimes when things are spaced out you kinda forget what happens. but maybe it would of been better, its worht watching though. mary Louise Parker is brilliant in it. just saw the ad for Carnivale again...its look really good but the music in the ad is horrible.

I like Mary Louise Parker. She was good in, what's the movie, the Anthony Minghella one, Mr. Wonderland? I suppose I have some stamina but I'm much more of a fan of protracted viewing experiences and savouring things for long periods of time. That's why it can take me up to 6-12 months to watch the latest season of Six Feet Under. Sure I tend to forget things on occasion, but I can always go back or my current viewing will trigger my powers of recall and refresh my memory. I know what you mean about the music for the Carnivale ad though, Harvey. I saw it again yesterday and almost winced when the voice over says "Distance... distance... distance" and then the music comes in. It's terribly camp and not even in a good way. ~Ferrero

Beauty. So it'll be a Sunday night thing then, eh? I've always avoided Sunday nights on ABC like the plague ('cause my parents watch it ) but I'll definitely make an exception in this case. Any word on how long the episodes will be? And whether they'll play it on Boxing Day? I'm so demanding aren't I? ~Ferrero

Each episode runs for an hour but the ABC is treating us with back-to-back episodes each week...and to my knowledge that does include Boxing Day.
But as you and I both know, anything can happen [and probably will] between now and then so please don't come after me with a machete if changes occur. I don't run the ABC, dammit!

You don't? Hey, maybe we should do something about that, huh? That way, we might just have one hour of this stuff a week. As it is, it's starting to sound like I might have to wait for the DVD after all if they're just going to bombard us with episodes, esp. around Christmas time when I'll be away... Or maybe I should just buy a few more blank cassettes. What do you reckon? ~Ferrero PS - I still don't like the sound of the voice of the narrator for these ads. What a git.

Hey, don't try and fool me mate, you're still reading that interview right now, aren't you? So what'd you learn? That he's a total deviant twist? I could've told you that! ;D ~Ferrero

Slow internet sucks balls. One of the many things I love about OzFreaks is that it loads sooooo quickly! It's like the fast and the furious. Who knows, maybe sometimes I post too quickly, without thinking too much, but that's all part of the fun isn't it?

Anyway, getting back on topic: don't forget peoples that Carnivale starts screening tonight at 8:30pm on ABC! (I keep forgetting myself and have yet to decide whether I'll watch it live, tape it, or wait for the DVD).
