Thanks for the info Jools, that's great that they're having it there.
I kind of feel like I should at the very least send something, maybe print out some of these photos I have for his family, I don't know. I'm guessing none of us are able to go in person.
Ideas?

Gah, this is too horrible. It feels so wrong to post here knowing it will never be like it was again. Even though it has been this way for a long time... I wish I could afford to make the trek to Adelaide. I am glad I got to say good bye in person however. You know that even at the end I convinced myself it could not be true? He never wanted to make his life about his illness which is why many of us did not know he was dying. Even at the end. I salute him for that. He had this way of making sure life was for living! I think if I am to take anything away from this injustice it will be that. Yes, I got married. Mike, Tom and James were there. Brian didn't RSVP. It will be a year in April. I hope you and your lady friend are well Splash. James said she is great. Lovely to hear from you all again. x

Oh god I think Natalie and I just lost all our Cool Points. Well, for me, that would make it negative 1000. Ech, thanks for these details and agreed, a very fitting venue, especially considering all his filmic connections! Oooh James has an IMBD page! I remember when he stayed in Sydney for a few weeks to work on "Scorched", a tellie movie with Georgie Parker and Vince Colosimo. ~Ferrero

I just read this. Pretty upsetting. I liked James a whole lot and talking with him about movies. I remember one of his trips to Sydney when he was volunteering at the Australian Film Television and Radio School. He was really enthusiastic about the work and encouraged me to do the same. It was a really good experience though we were there at different times. Genuinely one of the nicest guys I've met.

Amen.
This may seem a little trite but I watched the Avengers movie last night and there's this one moment when Cap tells the team to "Suit up" and it made me think of James and the film he made by that name and I got a tiny bit misty. I think he would've liked to have seen that movie.

Apparently he just deleted every post he ever made. He's a painstakingly mad genius that way. But he's back on Facebook now so things are looking up! ~Ferrero

I feel really bad for not knowing about this until it was too late. I never really talked to James much but I loved reading his posts here.
Hope everyone else is well. Even you Tom.
