What are you guys saying??? Harvey was lovely. He just cut us off without explanation, that's all. He's still a good boy in my eyes. Kibbles, you should get an update on the latest and greatest from him and then dish it online at OzFreaks. Oh and I'm serious. ~Ferrero PS - Brain, nobody said you weren't.

I don't think cutting most of us off without reason makes him good. I think it is cruel and selfish. But, I won't try to understand it because nothing he did made much sense. I hope he is happy in his perpetual state of youth.
Deleting his account was just icing on the cake to me. It just says I am done with you all, you are just Internet people that mean nothing to me. Fair enough, he made his choice.
Must focus on the remaining core that give a shit.

i didn't really cut anyone off, or at least it didn't feel like that, considering that this place died out a long long time ago. also i went through a period where i was nervous about online privacy so i deleted a lot of my digital accounts (facebook, myspace, forums etc)
i didn't know it meant that much to anyone

ps lol @ the perpetual state of youth comment.... that is both completely true and completely UNtrue considering all that's happened in the past few years.

Heya Harvey, nice to hear from you. I figured online privacy might be a factor...
A lot of us sort of drifted away and I'm one of the guiltiest. Things shifted to livejournal and facebook and such too but I can't stand facebook and that's part of the reason I lost touch with not just people here but other groups of friends as well. But then I wouldn't even have a mobile phone if I didn't need one for work - the whole being-constantly-connected-with-everyone-way-of-life overloads me. I turned into more of a lurker rather than a contributor.
It'd be nice if we all caught up here for a while at least now that we've come back.

I wrote to you Harvey and asked you why you deleted me from FB and you ignored me. I also wrote to you here. As a result I took it personally.
I know, that Tom and I were both wondering what happened to you. I think if one communiates online to someone almost daily and then without warning they disappear it is unsettling. Maybe we misunderstood the connection we had with you in the first place?
Privacy is so abstract. How do you even fathom that it exists any longer?
And Splash, fair enough. I am sure however that you've missed out on a lot of great friendships that could have easily been maintained by five minutes here and there online.

I don't remember that nat, sorry. To be honest I never got the feeling you liked me or "approved" of me so I didn't think it was a big deal.
