I bought for the trio of cheap DVD's, Oldboy, About Schmidt and The Untouchables. I wanted to buy Rushmore but I'm still convinced I'll buy the Criterion edition sometime.

Yeah, I have the silly single disc edition from the US. I'll end up buying the two disc of The Party. It's so very good.

I like it, it's not bad, but I don't think it's as good as everyone claims it is. Its got some fantastic imagery and some great acting. But it feels a little tepid on rewatching it more than twice.

I wanted to buy Rushmore but I'm still convinced I'll buy the Criterion edition sometime. Ssssssssssssssssnap! But let's keep our eyes on the prize, people. I'm looking to do work experience while in Sydney - it was one of my best justifications for going there - so an evening/nighttime meeting would be best for me. Hope this suits people. Failing that, I'll try and be flexible. As for Oldboy, I hope it stands up for me after more than two viewings. I'm the compulsive type, y'see... And I bought the Ultimate Edition of the movie before having even seen it, based solely on the recommendation of a friend and the fact that they were only making as many as were pre-ordered. How much was the case? That's a pretty damn impressive - and neat as well, given the subject of the movie - set there. I'd buy that for a dollar. Just steer clear of the movie if you're one of those animal rights in films people.
Also, nice picture of Newsom. I do think she's attractive, just a little zany with her singing style. As you said, listen to a full album and may be swayed. Hopefully.

I will, after I finish listening to The New Pornographer's, Vitalic, British Sea Power, Mountain Goats and the new Rapture album.

Dude – I hear ya loud and clear, don’t you worry about that! Hmm... I can see myself coming around to the idea. It could be cool actually esp. if we all came (Harvey, Foo, Gemma, the Morgans), safety in numbers and all that. Of course if we all decided we hated each other in person, there goes half the posting cast of this messageboard! Well if Tuesday is the gig night and nights are best for James (and me - cause I work during the day - maybe some other night, later in the week?). As for what to do, I think we have to go bowling, don't we Splash? Double dang! If you ladies can make it, that would be super cool. I guess weekends are better? That was beautiful, Fliss, truly beautiful, but I’m afraid it’s not true. I will work this one out, I promise I will. Brain… not… working… cultural references… not… forthcoming… That Korine-crowd includes you doesn’t it, Foo? Shit, she does too! ~Ferrero

Tardiness isn't too good. You'll have to make it up by buying a round of drinks.

Drinks? Rounds? There'll be no such thing, right Harvey?

as long as you're all drinking tap water i'd be glad to.
i was thinking more along the lines of shooting up heroin (using only one needle of course) then visiting some hookers.
