That's right, East Coast kids, JCriquet is coming to a city near you!
In October, I'm going to be following the Joanna Newsom tour from Brisbane to Byron Bay to Sydney to Melbourne and finally to Castlemaine. I'm keen to meet up with as many of you as possible, as previous attempts at contact with OzFreaks have all ended in disappointment. I know that things come up at the last minute, that's why I'm giving you all a whole lotta notice.
Here's the rough outline of my tour: Brisbane - 5-7 October Byron Bay - 7-9 October Sydney - 9-14 October Melbourne - 14-15 October Castlemaine - 15-16 October
Please let me know via personal message if you think you would be able to catch up during that time. This is the only trip like this that I'm planning to make before, say, my retirement, so please, please, inundate me with possible rendez-vous proposals.
Thankyou and goodnight.

I really didn't like Joanna Newsom from the songs I've heard, but, I'm willing to hear more, so I will download some more. I guess she's an acquired taste sort of.

Isn't James cute? He seems like such a friendly individual. This Joanna Newsom is an unknown quantity however...

we should do an OzFreaks Sydney meet-up to coincide with James coming. what day of the week is the Syd-gig?

Definitely an acquired taste, but definitely something I'm willing to trek the countryside for. Isn't James cute? He seems like such a friendly individual. This Joanna Newsom is an unknown quantity however... I'm far less cute in person, but no less friendly. Joanna Newsom's music is put out in Australia by Spunk!, and can (probably) be found at your local music store. I only just heard her the other day, I found it quite weird. not something I'm really into but whatever. Yeah, whatever. /me does that little index finger and thumb "whatever" sign. looks around for recognition of "Clueless" reference. Finds none. Retreats into the shadows. Regrets typing long-winded reply. Capital idea, old bean. The Syd-gig is on Tuesday the 11th. Joanna Newsom is good, I like her. She has quite an unusual voice, I guess it takes some getting used to. Her album is definitely worth getting though, I think. Very unusual. I was one of the lucky ones, cause it hit me just right the first time.

how are Tuesdays for people? where should we go and what should we do? The Morgan Sisters have uni on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Dang. Ferrero doesn't exist. He is just a figment of our collective imagination. It's like we all wished for something beautiful, something amazing and he came into fruition.

the good thing about uni is that no one cares if you dont turn up.

a singer-songwriter.
plays a harp and has a very cutesy/bizarre voice.
you'll either love her or want to kill her.

she's pretty - she looks like a human version of Kira from The Dark Crystal
