i thought about getting it on ebay as ive seen it around a few times but then i didnt want to spend money on what i might not like. (ive bought movies when i havent seen them before...er...before....but only when i was fairly sure id dig them)

Hey everyone. See Battle Royale. No.  Don't mind me - just being a shit.  Seriously though, we were lucky enough to have a cinematic release of this pic at my local Hoyts cinema last year. I still didn't see it though - looked a little too sadistic for my tastes. Y'know like bad sadistic, rather than good sadistic. I read the director, a veteran in the Japanese scene passed away just recently. And that that crazy killer schoolgirl from Kill Bill: Volume 1 is in it as a ... crazy killer schoolgirl.  ~Ferrero |

Looked a little too sadistic for my tastes. Y'know like bad sadistic, rather than good sadistic. Which one is Requiem For A Dream? It might be improper for me to start drawing parallels, but I found both films extremely disturbing and extremely brilliant. I'd like to see BR again, though. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. You'd think, but no. |

Which one is Requiem For A Dream? Good sadistic definitely. I loved that film. Hey, I'm just going off my source... Or rather my recollection of what that source said... i never found Requeim that disturbing. its one of my favourite films, i must of seen it 5 or 6 times now.

So it turns out that Battle Royale happens to be quite an awesome movie. James was right about so many things.
