This coming Sunday night / Monday morning, one of my favourite movies is screening on the ABC: Hell Drivers (ABC, Sunday night 1:05am). www.imdb.com/title/tt0051713/This movie stars the glorious Stanley Baker as an ex-con trying to go straight, but unable to find work anywhere but a dodgy and dangerous trucking company. Kickass action sequences featuring huge lorries ensue. And tension, such tension. Fucking awesome, I love this stuff! And... *sigh* I don't want to mention it if it means you won't watch Hell Drivers[/i], but Sixteen Candles is also on this Sunday night. Slightest of overlaps between the two. Just thought some of you would like to know.[/sub] But watch Hell Drivers!!!

Well, on the plus side, I can tell you that they seem to screen this movie about once every six months(!) as the ABC is wont to do with this sort of film. But if you can track down a copy, mo' power to ya.
