Nick wants Lindsay badly.
Lindsay doesnt want Nick and feels uncomfortable around him.
if Nick werent such a drip my sympathies lie with him...but as it is its hard to know who to feel sorry for.

I feel sorry for Nick.
His unrequited love for Lindsay is painful to watch though. He is so goofy.
But then I'm biased cause his my favourite.
I know they aren't compatible but I think they kinda go well together though.

Yeah I think everyone has.
It is just so painful to watch esp unrequited love boardering on obsession.
Maybe you are right. Maybe you see a little of Nick in you?
If my memory serves me correctly Lindsay starts to get a crush on Ken.
I don't think they go together at all.
I wonder what would have happened if the show made another season on the whole relationship front thing.

actually Nick reminds me of my best friend from high school, who was also very tall and awkward looking (and turned out to homosexual), but then I did have the shyness of Nick.
I guess the reason I feel not much sympathy for Nick is that the focus of the show is Lindsay. Have oyu ever seen Fawlty Towers? the focus of that show is Basil Fawlty, an awful man if you think about it but because the show focuses on him, hes the hero so to speak you want to see HIM succeed.
Same in F&G, Lindsay is the focus of the show so I want to see whats best for her, if Nick were the shows focus Im sure id feel more for Nick and want to see him get with Lindsay. Does that make sense?
Hmm Im sure Ken reveals he has feelings for Lindsay right?

I'm confused...what's the go with the Lindsay/Ken thing? I never picked up on any hint of romance between the two... Can anyone explain this to me? From what I remember, Ken was a little nicer to Lindsay once he hooked up with Amy (because I guess Lindsay helped him to get her)...but I never thought that Ken had a crush on Lindsay...or viceversa...although Ken is the smartest of those guys so they could've been an ok match  |

Yep I have seen Fawlty Towers. Haven't watched much of it though but I get your drift. Basil is pretty infamous as been a jerk. Yes it does make complete sense I understand your Lindsay connection. I thought Ken reveals that he has feelings for Lindsay but I could be wrong unless I am only remembering what are implied feelings from both their parts and were never actually said. It has been awhile since I saw the entire series right through, though so far my memory has been good but a little fuzzy at times. I thought that Lindsay started to get a little jealous over Ken and Amy. I totally forgot about the whole Amy 'has male/female genitals' thing only remembered when reading over some episode guide. Who knows what would have happened if the show had of gone on though. Would have been interesting on the whole relationship front. I could see why Lindsay would be attracted to Ken in that respect. He does seem the most intelligent out of the freaks plus he has that great biting sense of humour |

i read in an ep guide that Ken admis to Lindsay he acts like a jerk to her because he has feelings for her.
I think its in one of the last episodes.

Hmm, interesting...can't be bothered to go through my taoes so I guess I'll just have to wait until the episode airs.. I personally think that Nick had a crush on Lindsay...I think they would've eventually hooked up had the series continued  |

Anyway, what I meant was I think Daniel and Lindsay might've hooked up had the series continued.

Something to help with all the speculation.
•Arcing over the first season, we will witness the slow break-up of Daniel and Kim -- the school's "mature" couple -- and see a strange triangle develop between Nick and Lindsay and Daniel and Kim, a drama that threatens to break up the group.
This was from the original proposal to NBC.

did you read the Freaks and Geeks bible by Paul Feig....its really long and has tonnes of awesome information in it.
its on the official site, yeah it takes a while to read but for any fan its totally worth it

Yeah I can see the whole Dan/Lindsay thing more so at the beginning of the series.
Something could have def happened again with Nick and Lindsay in a second series.
I thought in last weeks ep Chokin and Tokin they were getting along well.
Thinking of all the stuff that could have happened makes me depressed...
Whereabouts is the bible? I'll have a look... I don't think I've read it.
