None too shabby. I loved Waking Life so this should be an interesting project. I presume they're filming it in live-action then digitalising/animating it like they did with the aforementioned film? (Presuming that was the actual technique they used and I'm not just talking out of my arse). When's it coming out, do you know Harvey?

i think its coming out around July/August.
tehtrailer is due out in February ive heard.
and yeah theyre using the same technique, which i believe is called rotoscoping for this film. it stars Keanu Reeves, Wynona Ryder and Robert Downey Jnr.

Yay - Winona! It's been too long since I've witnessed her peculiarly odd emotive style of acting. I have a strange fascination with her and am especially preoccupied by the idea of her in a sci fi film. So far Alien:Resurrection is all we've got (I think). Please prove me wrong if you know of more that I've forgotten.

Almost as futuristically phantasmagorical as The Age of Innocence... She was also in S1m0ne which is a sci-fi thriller, I haven't seen that. That's about it though I think. Well I got a little excited when I heard that she would be in a sci-fi film from the creator of Gattaca. Then it turned out to be a 'sci-fi' film about Hollywood and Winona wasn't even in the ads. Hence I never saw this S1m0ne thingy and I also doubt very much if it could ever be 'thrilling' unfortunately. Still, I'll give it a go one of these days. ~Ferrero

Yo ho! Watch it already! I saw it at the movieo-s when it came out in 1998 and it was so affecting. Loved it. Can't wait to see it again too. I've got the soundtrack. It's by Michael Nyman. I love his music. ~Ferrero

Hey, that's pretty cool that your dad's into sci-fi. Mine's not really. Bummer. Make sure you watch Gattaca all the way from the beginning though - you need to let the atmosphere build and envelope you.

Well I don't actually live in Austin, Texas so I think the commute might be a pain in the ass. Also, compare the highly detailed rotoscoping and polished graphic novel look of the film to the shitty cartoon I did last year. I'm not sure my portfolio will really be up to their standards.
