A school formal? And I wasn't invited? WTF? Ah just kidding... I think I speak for us all when I say "We demand pictures." ;D (They should go in the "FooBoy is a P.I.M.P." thread ) Plus you have to tell us all the hot goss too. Where was it? Didja go with some hot babe? Who had too much to drink and vomited on the dance floor? Who fell off the boat and nearly drowned? Who got arrested at the afterparty? etc etc. ~Ferrero

The formal was in the city at some venue with habourside views. There was a DJ but only a couple of people were dancing. The music was pretty crap. Some of the teachers were there too. Hey, that was my Year 12 formal too! (sans dope though, of course ). Don't worry, Harvey you weren't missing much. And yeah, the cost of the ticket, the suit and any expenditure on a date is a pretty big disincentive. That's why in my first year of uni, I went to another bloody Yr 12 formal, this time as someone's date and consequently, I didn't have to pay for a bloody thing. Sweet. Oh, FuBu! That's so sad. My heart and best wishes go out to you, man. Cool. Oh my god, it's like the fucking O.C. !!! You know what this means, don't you? Pool party at your place this weekend! Splash'll bring the honeys (aka Harvey and his surgically enhanced friend) and your old friends from the 'ghetto' aka Chino will crash the festivities and there'll be a brawl. "Welcome to Turramurra, bitch." Don't worry, they have pot on the North Shore too. At premium prices though. ~Ferrero

Do you have any siblings? If so, which house do they live in (if either)? Don't worry, FuBu. If all goes according to The O.C. plan, there's this totally hot chick living next door, and even though she's in a relationship with the local jock, she's strangely drawn to you and your brooding silences... I'm trying to empathise here: it must be very, very surreal, especially given the dramatic suddeness of the transition. Anyway, you'll just have to post here heaps - we'll keep you company. ~Ferrero

It's weird. I miss my dad's place already but I'll have to get used to it. No friends around here yet, so I'll have to think of stuff to keep me busy. Maybe when I get my own place I'll live halfway between my mum and dad, so I can pick 'n' mix the ghetto/yuppie life. who needs friends when you got drugs.

I have a half brother who used to live with my mum (where I'm living now) but he moved to Queensland to live with his dad, I guess living with my mum was too distressing. Hey, let's hope not! So what's the latest? Do you think you're going to like it there? Oh well, it's all over now for the year. But yeah, it was entirely too glam for some. But that's what I loved. ~Ferrero

I fucking hate the OC!!!!...It's so fucking hyped, mainly the reason why everyones heard of it. I think Ive watched 5 minutes of it, and turned off the tv in utter distress of how SHIT tv is these days. The OC was the end of the line for me. I can't believe people can sit through a whole hour of it And that was my story! By the way i saw Bully about 3 years ago...I dunno maybe less...It is definately one that sticks in your mind. I remember wanting to hire Gummo out one time.....and didnt, and consequently never saw it again at the vid shop. My year 12 formal had no effect on me...It was a great good riddance to all the fuckwits i had to share classes with. I went to school with a shit load of jerks..! I know i sound really negative today. but oh well fuck it...since I'm on a roll....I'm sorry to hear about your home situation Foo....but lay of the grass dude....it doesnt look like its doing you any favours....and the whole suss thing in the shopping centre....dude youre paranoid....again lay of that stinky shit. That felt good. Fuck, people shit me. Life is simple kids....realllyy simple.

It is? I must have missed the memo, ah crap.
Meow. Looks like we have a "Just say no" campaigner on our hands kids.
Believe it.
I loved it because it was like watching Dawson's Creek again for the very first time. Only with two brunettes and two blondes as the leads, ah oops, hmm.
....
My formal took place within the classy location of Ettalong Leagues Club on the sunny NSW Central Coast.
Balloons, fairy lights and garishly coloured ball dresses adorned the dance floor. Dinner was a lovely choice of chicken or lamb and for the vegetarians vegetables on a plate (if you could first, stalk the waiters and make them get it for you). Alcohol was strictly prohibited, nasty high heel shoes were not to be removed by order of some burly bouncers and photos were to be taken in front of some plastic palm trees in the lobby.
Hell hath no fury.
